Triggers from real life
Time of day, sunrise and sunset, temperature, who's home, what a sensor just saw. Combine them into rules as simple or as clever as you like. They run in the box, every time.
What it does for you
Huze isn't a remote control with extra steps. It learns the shape of your household and runs it: lights, warmth, energy, comfort. The house does the right thing before you reach for a switch.
Everyday running
Tell Huze once how your home should behave, and it takes it from there. No apps to babysit, no scenes that silently stop working.
Time of day, sunrise and sunset, temperature, who's home, what a sensor just saw. Combine them into rules as simple or as clever as you like. They run in the box, every time.
Map any button, on the wall or by the bed, to a scene: film night, bedtime, everything off. Physical buttons, because nobody wants to unlock a phone to turn a lamp off. A word to Alexa does the same job.
Gentle ramps instead of sudden switches, and colour palettes that shift warm in the evening. The house eases between moments rather than snapping between them.
A guided pairing flow finds your devices, you name them and drop them into rooms, and from then on you think in rooms. "The kitchen", not "smart plug 7".
Awareness
Huze senses who is in the house and shapes the home around it: heating for the people actually there, lights off behind the last one out, and a house that never looks empty. Presence this dependable is something we've not seen anyone else offer.
Temperature, humidity and air quality, tracked room by room with history you can actually see. "The bedroom's always cold at 6am" becomes a fact you can fix, not a hunch.
Huze controls air conditioning the way an engineer would, with protective shut-down sequencing that guards the compressor rather than a bare on/off toggle. Your kit lasts longer because the box knows how to treat it.
The same awareness that runs your lights can quietly look out for someone who lives alone, and let the right people know if their day isn't following its usual shape.
How Huze cares →Energy
Most energy monitors show you a graph and call it a day. Huze closes the loop.
Whole-house usage alongside per-device readings, so you can see which appliances are quietly expensive, and automate them onto cheaper hours.
Huze knows your actual tariff, including time-of-day rates, so every figure it shows you is in pounds, on your deal, not a generic estimate.
Enter the bill when it arrives and Huze reconciles it against what it measured. If the numbers drift apart you'll know, and you'll have the data to query it.
Housekeeping
Huze checks daily whether your devices' firmware is up to date, so security fixes and improvements don't pass your house by.
The wireless mesh your devices live on is watched around the clock. When something misbehaves, Huze nurses it back without you ever knowing there was a wobble.
The things you care about reach you as messages: someone's home, the wash is done, something needs attention. Instant messaging is included; text, voice and more are available as add-ons.
Your existing kit
Huze speaks the languages your devices already speak, including the old ones everyone else has abandoned.
Even those old 433 MHz remote-controlled sockets and doorbells from years ago, the ones no modern hub will talk to, can be learned by Huze and folded into your automations.
